Instance of searchbox and button.




installation of the searchbox and button onto a web page requires that two blocks of code be installed on the web page.

The first block of code describing the popup window and shown below should be installed into the header area of the web page, immediately before the </head> tag.

The second block of code which describes the searchbox and button is shown below. This block of code should be installed at a chosen location in the body area of the web page.

That's all. After installing the code and saving the page, upload the page to your website account and test that it works correctly by typing a suitable word or words into the searchbox and clicking the Search button. The search results will display in a popup window, leaving your website open in the original browser window.


To de install the search box and button, remove both blocks of code from the web page.
